So what does the job look like on a day to day basis?

As a Global Group Accounting Manager, you will work both strategic and operational, your responsibilities involve overseeing, managing, and leading the financial accounting and reporting functions for all Breas legal entities within Breas Group. We are currently expanding to new markets, and you will be highly involved in streamlining the financial department towards a more global approach. You will also play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of the group accounting team, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to the overall success of the organization through effective financial management.

Tho Breas is a global company our Head office is still located in Sweden where it was founded over 30 years ago. The position is based in Mölnlycke with the possibility of hybrid work.

Main responsibilities

Team Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of accounting professionals into a new Breas era.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Financial Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the group.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with team members to gather financial data from various entities within the group.

Consolidation:

• Manage the consolidation process, eliminating intercompany transactions and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Work closely with subsidiaries or business units to gather necessary financial information.

Internal Controls:

• Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Implement control procedures to mitigate risks and prevent fraud.

Audit Coordination:

• Coordinate and manage the external audit process.
• Interact with auditors, provide required documentation, and address audit findings or recommendations.

Communication:

• Communicate financial information and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a clear understanding of financial performance and goals.

Training and Development:

• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and share relevant information with the team.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other teams within the finance department and across the organization to achieve common goals.
• Work closely with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide support.

To be successful in this job, we believe that you possess the following requirements and skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional accounting or finance certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years working experience in financial accounting and reporting with international environment.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role including experience as a senior accountant, accounting manager, or a similar position.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and Swedish accounting standard is a must.
• Familiar with accounting modules in ERP. Experience of JDE is a plus.
• Fluent Swedish and English in speaking and wr

Arbetsuppgifter
Som Finance Director hos oss leder du ett team med 5 medarbetare med ansvar inom redovisning och reskontra. Du ansvarar själv för business controlling (produktion, supply, R&D, SG&A) samt ger råd och support till ledningen i vilken du själv är en del. Vi arbetar med IFS affärssystem för våra administrativa flöden och inom koncernen har vi ett gott samarbete med våra systerfabriker i Finland och Spanien. Du kommer att ha många kontakter med avdelningschefer inom bolaget men även med det europeiska huvudkontoret i Nederländerna och kontaktytor med representanter för våra japanska ägare med höga krav på ekonomisk kontroll.  

Kvalifikationer
Vi söker dig som har akademisk examen med inriktning ekonomi/redovisning. Du har några års erfarenhet från arbete inom industriföretag, företrädesvis inom en internationell koncern. Du har också erfarenhet av ledningsgruppsarbete samt trivs i rollen som ledare. Kunskaper i engelska som flyter i tal och skrift är en förutsättning.
 
För att lyckas i rollen behöver du ha erfarenhet av redovisning och avancerad controlling med analys och avancerad rapportering, företrädesvis från produktionsmiljö, då arbetet innebär detaljerad uppföljning till våra japanska ägare. 

Personliga egenskaper
Den vi söker är strukturerad och noggrann men kan samtidigt hålla tempo i leveranser mot tidplan och även i snabbt uppkomna behov av rapport eller analys. Du har öga för den riskhantering som krävs för bolaget. Förmågan att skapa goda kontakter i syfte att förstå verksamheten och samarbeta för att nå de gemensamma målen är grundläggande. Du behöver också ha god förmåga att snabbt lära nytt och förstå sammanhang.
