As a Prototyping Technician you will work in a creative yet practical environment, enabling the making of prototype products. You are key in all stages of Product Development, from the small-scale initial testing to leading test runs of big series of products that can be intended for consumer tests or even pilot launches.

About the role
As a Prototyping Technician, you will use all your curiosity, creativity and structure to create and produce the prototypes that are requested in the test briefs. You will operate the test prototyping rigs and keep a well-functioning order and structure in our facilities. You will participate and lead test runs, rebuild and run the rigs. You are open for new technologies to enable innovations, and you will constantly build more knowledge and explore opportunities by initial testing of e.g. new and altered materials, embossing, printing etc. You are comfortable in maintaining order and structure.
What you will do
You will operate our rigs and support our warehouse activities. You will also secure that our equipment and connected areas are maintained according to LEAN 5-S.
Lead the efforts to ensure accurate operation of the rigs while identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
Develop prototypes to visually illustrate and evaluate product ideas and solutions.
Determine the most suitable methods for producing test products and prototypes, meeting the requirements of internal stakeholders.
Operate machinery based on test briefs.
Ensure that test products and prototypes meet specifications, quality standards, and are completed within the specified time and budget.
Oversee activities related to 5-S principles.
Collaborate in configuring test rigs.
Provide support for warehouse activities.
Serve as the Safety Coordinator.
Maintain thorough documentation.
Create clear working instructions and train personnel for assigned tasks.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the prototyping field.
Adhere to procedures and instructions outlined in the Quality system and Working environment plan.
Stay well-informed about product areas and relevant technologies.

Om rollen
Du kommer ansvara för fabrikens elarbete och leda det som elinstallatör för regelefterlevnad. I din roll kommer du fungera som expert inom ditt teknikområde och du kommer att ingå i ett resursteam bestående av processingenjör, underhållsingenjör, mekaniker och avdelningschef som tillsammans ansvarar för drift och underhåll av ett antal produktionslinjer.
Du är delaktig i installationer och ombyggnader av maskinerna. Och du arbetar för ökad tillgänglighet i maskinerna och förutsägbarhet i produktionen genom att delta i att effektivisera underhållet.
Vidare stödjer du och coachar operatörerna i tekniska frågor samt utbildar produktionsteamen i att hantera uppkomna tekniska problem. Du föreslår och genomför förbättringar samt följer upp att processerna kring tillsyn, egenkontroll och att el-underhåll efterlevs. Tillsammans med övriga resurser i verksamheten utvecklar du gemensamma standarder och underhållsrutiner till produktionen.

About the role
This role is a permanent position without probation period. The Technical Manager provides leadership and direction in the technical functions in the factory and support with resources, skills and methods to reach the factory targets in the area of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity and Technical ability.
In the position as Technical Manager in Mölnlycke you will lead a team of 3 Engineers and Technicians. You will provide strategic directions for the maintenance functions at the site and own the Site Maintenance Master Plan. Support management of technical stops, corrective maintenance, and the elimination of breakdown times by applying Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and problem-solving tools. Coordinates the Unit to maintain spares stocks and maintenance budget within the targets. Plans savings via strong focus on planned maintenance and implementation of time-based maintenance tools and condition monitoring. Perform benchmarks between Lines, teams and other factories. Train and transfer the knowledge to the Technical Team in Maintenance enablers.
As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for developing the department annual budgets, Site maintenance budget and supervising/controlling budget performance. You will also develop and lead the Site Maintenance Strategies in alignment with Essity best practices and processes.

About the role
As Production Manager, you will provide leadership and direction, drive production performance, and build and develop organizational capability across the unit involving all stakeholders. Furthermore, you will drive and deliver a continuous improvement culture and the desired competitive business results. You will lead a team of 28 operators working in three shifts over a 24-hour cycle.
You will report to the Mölnlycke Site Manager and be part of the Factory Management Team. This role is a permanent position without a probation period.
Main accountabilities and responsibilities:
Responsible for safety rules at Essity and ensuring your employees follow these rules.
Ensure volume is secured by collaborating with logistics and correctly inputting data in the Sales and Operations Planning file.
Responsible for work instructions, routines, and quality.
Act as a role model regarding policies, rules, and Essity’s way of securing world-class production quality.
Analyze results from weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual production reports.

Who You Are

What You Will Do

Who You Are
You possess a university degree in Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Previous experience in Operations/Site Management roles. Knowledge of papermaking is a plus.
Proven track record of driving safety culture, evolving quality and environmental results whilst supporting continuous improvement
Driving the operations/site towards CBN and achieving financial and non-financial targets
Able to build a strong and effective team, leading by example and practicing servant leadership.
Leadership encouraging people development and delegating authority/giving control to employees
Commercial and financial knowledge
Well-rounded understanding of entire end-to-end Supply Chain and strong examples of building successful collaboration cross functionally.

Create working instructions and train personnel for assigned working operations.
Initiate and drive/participate in continuous improvement work within the field of prototyping

Uphold good knowledge about product areas and technologies

Technical background
5 + years of experience from similar industry

We are looking for a new colleague to join as a Technical Manager in our factory in Mölnlycke.
Mölnlycke Plant is producing special airlaid material and the product range covers wash gloves, soft wipes, hygiene sheet, cell cloth (Cellduk) and Libero Dry Wipes. The brands are: TENA, Tork and Libero. We are a small organization (around 47 employees) with high continuous improvement mindset. We have 5 converting lines and one machine that produce unique Airlaid material.

About the role
This role is a permanent position without probation period. The Technical Manager provides leadership and direction in the technical functions in the factory and support with resources, skills and methods to reach the factory targets in the area of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity and Technical ability.
In the position as Technical Manager in Mölnlycke you will lead a team of 3 Engineers and Technicians. You will provide strategic directions for the maintenance functions at the site and own the Site Maintenance Master Plan. Support management of technical stops, corrective maintenance, and the elimination of breakdown times by applying Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and problem-solving tools. Coordinates the Unit to maintain spares stocks and maintenance budget within the targets. Plans savings via strong focus on planned maintenance and implementation of time-based maintenance tools and condition monitoring. Perform benchmarks between Lines, teams and other factories. Train and transfer the knowledge to the Technical Team in Maintenance enablers.
As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for developing the department annual budgets, Site maintenance budget and supervising/controlling budget performance. You will also develop and lead the Site Maintenance Strategies in alignment with Essity best practices and processes.

University degree or equal experience from working in production/maintenance.
Minimum 5 years working experience within a similar role.
Proven knowledge and experience of applying of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies.
Minimum 3 years leadership experience.
Fluent in English and Swedish– both oral and written.

Arbetsuppgifter
Felavhjälpning och problemlösning på våra produktionslinjer
Reparation och rengöring av reservdelar
Delta aktivt i planering, organisering och förbättringsarbete av underhållet på våra produktionslinjer
Vara behjälplig vid framtagandet av rutiner för inspektioner och underhåll samt vara ansvarig för genomförandet av dessa aktiviteter
Utbilda operatörer och vara delaktig i framtagandet av utbildningsmaterial och instruktioner
Vara med och utveckla gemensam standard, arbetssätt och förbättringsarbete tillsammans med övriga mekaniker, processingenjör, teknisk chef m fl.
